Bill Calendar / Getting started

Overprepared Bill Calendar User Guide

Bills. Dates. Done. Your guide to a simpler bill calendar.

The idea is simple. Put your bills and paydays on the calendar, see what's due, and mark bills paid. Bill Calendar helps organize payments; it doesn't make payments for you.
01

The calendar

Open Bill Calendar to see your bills in a monthly calendar. Each entry appears on its due date. The summary at the top shows the month’s Total, Paid, and Remaining amounts. Use month navigation to look ahead or review a prior month.

02

Add or edit a bill

  1. Open the Bills Calendar and tap + Add.
  2. Enter a name, amount and due date in the bill editor.
  3. Choose a repeat option if appropriate, then save.

To update an existing bill, select it on the calendar, edit the details and save your changes.

03

Recurring bills

Bill Calendar can repeat bills so you don’t have to enter them each time. Available recurrence intervals include every two months, quarterly and annually. Select the appropriate repeat setting and verify the next due date.

05

Payday markers

Bill Calendar supports payday markers on the calendar so you can view your incoming paydays alongside upcoming bills. Use the app’s payday controls to add your payday dates.

06

Backup and restore

Bill information is stored locally on your device. Manual iCloud backup and restore is a feature currently being prepared and tested for release. We will update this guide with confirmed steps once it is available in the published app. Do not assume that bill entries automatically synchronize between devices, or rely on an unverified backup for recovery.
