1. Who we are

Overprepared Systems, LLC operates overpreparedsystems.com and develops the Overprepared apps. Contact us about privacy at support@overpreparedsystems.com.

2. When you visit this website

Our current website is primarily informational. You can browse it without creating an account or entering personal information. The pages do not include an advertising pixel, an embedded social-media tracker, a newsletter signup, or a third-party analytics script.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical information required to serve pages, maintain security and diagnose issues, such as an IP address, browser details, requested URLs and access times. We use Netlify to host the website. Any processing by that provider is subject to its applicable terms and privacy practices.

3. Emails and support requests

If you email us, we receive the email address you use, your message and any information you choose to include. We use it to answer your question, provide support, and keep a record of our correspondence when reasonably needed. Our business email is hosted through Microsoft 365.

We do not ask you to send passwords, bank account numbers, payment card details, or copies of sensitive personal documents. Please leave those details out of support messages.

4. Our apps

Bill Calendar and Overprepared Travel are separate applications with different features and information needs. Read the product-specific pages linked above for the categories of information entered into each app and the role of optional device services, including iCloud where available.

Features and integrations may change while the apps are in development. We will update the applicable product privacy information to reflect the release build before distributing an app.

5. Disclosure and service providers

We use providers to operate this website and our support email, including Netlify for hosting and Microsoft 365 for email. We do not sell information from support requests. Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect the security of our services, or as part of a lawful business transition.

6. Retention and your choices

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for responding, follow-up, recordkeeping and applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to review or delete the personal information you sent us by contacting support@overpreparedsystems.com; some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.

Data entered into an app and held on your device is generally controlled through that app and your device settings. For optional Apple iCloud storage, use your Apple account and iCloud controls; see the relevant app privacy page for more detail.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect company systems and correspondence, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is guaranteed to be secure. Please use discretion when sharing information over email.

8. Children

Our website and apps are designed for general audiences and are not directed specifically to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through our support channel, contact us.

9. Updates

We may update this policy as our website, apps and service providers change. We will publish the current version here and revise the effective date when material changes are made.
